I love this bedroom

For anyone who's interested, Whitney led me to a really cool blog called House of Turquoise.  She posts a new pic everyday and the room is always some shade of turquoise with other stuff mixed in.  If you like house stuff it's pure eye candy.

New house

I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on with us with our move.  The moving truck comes this Monday, then we will go to Utah Tuesday, come back in time for Brynn's dance recital Saturday night,(sorry we're missing the baptism), go to the beach house after church on Sunday.  Send the kids up with Jon to soccer camp the next week, play in Ca. for a couple weeks, then head up for the final time Monday July 27th.  That sounds like a normal month for Mom, but not for us.  I'm just glad we have a lot of fun stuff in between the crazy stuff.  So here is our new address.

I'm feeling a huge mix of emotions, but I know this is the right thing to do for our little family and I really appreciate everyone's help and support.  Can't wait for the BEACH HOUSE!!!

Happy Birthday Jilly Bean!

so Jillian (the youngest) turned 26 last week! So instead of my usual talking about all her great qualities and fun personality, which I have to say she is amazing, I thought I would feature her amazing hair over the last 26 years!

she was so cute with this 1/4 pony tail my mom used to pull tightly in her hair!

i think this is when our mother decided that taking half of our hair, pulling it forward, chopping it into bangs, AND THEN perming it would be cute!


and her famous bo-derek braids we did every summer! Beads not included!


the scrunchy look was really "in" in the 90's! throw some mouse in, flip your head over, scrunch, and GO!


and my favorite of all, her red low lights she did to the bottom half of her hair! she was one-of-a-kind and very creative I must say!

AND thanks danielle for providing her dining room paint swatch for mom and dad.

i think it turned out amazing! don't you? and now we are trying to decide whether or not to keep the random pieces of white trim white, or paint them red?

why do us warner kids always seem to be getting hurt? i think it's because we are tough players! LOL. Im sorry Jill that you hurt yourself. That really sucks that you can't move your wrist!! maybe todd will be more lovey dovey for a few weeks, wash your hair, make you food, and scratch your back! ha ha! hope the doctor goes well!!!!

i am so mad....i had indoor soccer tonight and in the first minute my hip started hurting so bad. my hip has been hurting for about 2 weeks from running and it hit a peak tonight. then after half time they put me in goalie {i don't know why} and i stopped a ball with both hands and BAM my wrist just shot with pain. it immediately went limp and i couldn't move it at all. i got out of the game and as time progressed i could feel it swelling up more and more. so now i cannot turn my wrist, and cannot bend it, i cannot hold ANYTHING, and it is really swollen. i am so mad.....1. because I'm a mom! hello! i have to hold things and use my hands constantly 2. i cant play soccer anymore 3. i cant play tennis anymore 4. i cant wash my hair 5. i cant hold my kids 6. its my birthday in 2 days. bottom line, i am going to the doctor tomorrow and i am SO ANGRY!!!!

time flys

so gordon went back to work this morning. its been 7 months since his accident. was he ready? absolutely not. but I think it is a good thing.

So he went to the Dr. last week and they released him based on his knee surgery, but they released him to work with limited activity! So gordon thought, no big deal, his job requires a lot of activity so they wouldn't want him back yet! well his boss said, "come in Monday morning!" so all weekend he's been stressed, poor guy.

He went back this morning and found out he has to work in the office for awhile. I told him it'll be good because he'll gain experience on that end of it, that he will have a leg up over all the other guys!

Movie update!

so dad and I went and saw Terminator Salvation last night. Has anyone seen it? It was so awesome! Loud the entire time, but so cool! I think they left it open for another one because they never terminated the terminators!!!! LOL

I also went with Gordon last week to see Land of the Lost! It was so freakin funny! I love Will Ferrel though, and if you don't then you will NOT like the movie. It is so incredibly cheesy too, but still funny!

so thank you to the few readers that we have here! You are all MORE than welcome to comment whenever! I love doing this but I hate that nobody else feels my same enthusiasm......

so i just wanted to say HAPPY BELATED birthday to my one and only 40 year old brother jaRAD! He is the most awesome down to earth guy! I thought Id share a few of my favorite things about him:

1. he is the silliest person I know

2. he ALWAYS makes people laugh. i love that he says funny things under his breath so only a few people can hear!

3. he's a good sport! he played indoor soccer with me, danielle, and Jon a few years ago. he drove all the way from Murrieta to be our goalie which wasn't his favorite, but he did it anyway AND never complained. (i'm a bad loser so its amazing that he can be a good one!)

4. He loves reggae and doesn't care that it's not "cool"

5. he has the most amazing natural musical talent! i swear he can play everything, AND write anything he wants!

6. he cares about everyone in his family so much! he finds the good in all.

7. he is always down to have a good time! wake board, snowboard, play soccer, camp, etc. he isn't afraid to get dirty!

8. he married the perfect woman for him! what a lucky guy to have heather in his life!

9. he has the 4 most amazing, kind, funny, loving kids......

10. he is an example to me. i learn from him everyday and am grateful and LUCKY to be his sister!

Mr. President, who's side are you on?

Mr. President, you are making me ill! You go over to the middle east, which in and of it'self is fine, many presidents have gone over there to meet with the leaders of those nations. But, never have I heard such a sell out! You spoke about 6000 words in your speach yesterday, not one time did you say the work "terror" or "terrorist". Hello....... You refered to the 911 attack as an attack against our society and that we need to be careful how we react to these things! (I'm paraphrasing of course, I don't remember the words specifically, just the idea I walked away with in my head after hearing the speach). Hello......This was an act of war! We were attacked by an orginized group of people. Now, they do not represent a nation, but they sure represent a group. A group of extreme radicals with hatred, using their religion as a source of inspiration and direction. I feel sorry for true Muslums in this world. I am sorry that they will be steriotyped, it's not fair to good Muslums that have no hate. Sorry that your brothers and sisters are whack jobs and can't think!

So Mr. President, a question for you. Are you the president of our America or your America? I think you are president of your America, which is not the America that exists today, or that faught for freedom over 200 years ago, or continues to provide freedom to the small and week of our world, or provides the freedom to speak up and speak out, or the freedom to the pursuit of happiness, or all the other freedoms that My Grandpa and others faught to keep for us, for me, for You! Your America does not exist yet, but what I fear is that you will continue in your pursuit to make it that way. An America of no freedoms unless you are the elite, the America of socialism, take from the producers and give to the non producers, an America of talking to our enemies when talking clearly does not work.

You are weak! I'm tired of you, and I'm not going to keep quiet about it. I appreciate all people that speak up about you, and hope it continues for another year and a half so we can vote out all the idiot Senators and Reps in the house, so you don't have the majority anymore, so you have to stop with your stupid moves. Then, I'm not going to keep quiet for two more years, so we can vote you out. By then, all the people that voted for you will have finally figured you out! That you are trying to change this great America that we live in, and then you and your cronies will be gone!

Sorry for not writing comments......just not into blogging too much....would rather just see you in person and have a good conversation anyway...

there is a lot going on in the world today.....Obama sucking up to Muslim extremists....another state legalizing homosexual marriage.....dictator countries becoming more and more unstabble...i mean i could go on and on......

we just had thunder,lightning, and hail storms here in Murrieta,,,,,that never happens...

so many signs of the times....it's amazing and scary....

i hope we are preparing for the future.....i hope we will not follow the masses.....i hope we all will choose the right side and right team to be on......cuase the battle is here and it's only gonna get worse

My Birthday.....no big deal

No plans as of yet for birthday..........but.....no big deal.....i think birthdays are overrated and egotistical anyway........no need for cards,presents,surprises,etc........no pressure.....if i go out to lunch or dinner with heather that night....that's enough.....

well i have to admit...i feel the same way as ashley. i have nothing important enough to talk about! pretty sad, i know. i don't know enough about current events to comment about or even have an opinion about. my life consists of having no husband for a month, getting my baby weight off, having my one night a week of soccer, living with my in-laws, taking care of the 2 kids, waking up in the middle of the night every night, FINALLY working out every day, going swimming, swimming lessons, church on sunday, movie rentals, summer tv shows, and occasional lunch with friends. sorry.....its a typical stay at home mom life. that's why i feel i don't have much to say. i will say i love all my siblings, and i do enjoy hearing from all of you on this blog since i don't talk to some of you very often!

I'm sorry Whitney, I know how much you want this blog to be successful and we're not really participating like we said we would. I love to read all the entries and sometimes feel like my thoughts aren't very interesting, but I promise I'll make more of an effort to blog. Thanks for your enthusiasm and time you take for our family.
